Range Keys

Range key update - 15/05/2018

If you have not renewed your membership, can you please post back your range card (or old key) to the following address:
NZDA Hutt Valley Branch INC.
PO BOX 40226
Upper Hutt 5140

Range cards are now automatically added to all membership types ($20); this is for new members and renewing members (even if you were issued a card last year). It helps cover the cost of lock replacements and range maintenance.

Range keys are available at club  meetings, third Wednesday of each month, Upper Hutt Cossie Club, starting at 7:30PM. We don't hold meetings at the Upper Hutt Cossie Club: December, January and February.

Please bring the following:

A printed & completed key lease form (please date and sign the form).

A copy of your HVNZDA range safety certificate (this course is only required to be done once and is available from the Safer Shooting Website); or another accepted range officer qualification (NZDA, Pistol NZ or WSRA).

Your firearms licence.

Your current membership card (if you have received).

Your old key (if you have one).

The correct amount of cash (if you have not paid online).

Note: Anyone hiring the range is expected to have done the safety course.

Please note, as of September 1st, 2017,  the range key fee is now built into each membership level: $20 for new or renewing members and an additional $5 if collecting from the Gunshop (This will be invoiced separately).

Keys will no longer be available from Beveridge Locksmiths - so please do not go to the store looking for a key.
